
Two Trips To Paw Paw Highlight Busy Weekend

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that the Harold Zeigler Auto Group's K-Wings Karavan along with the K-Wings mascot, Slappy will be participating in four area events this weekend.
Slappy will be staying at the Wings Stadium Complex tomorrow morning from 9-11am to sign autographs at the KOHA sign-ups located inside the Players Entrance of The Annex and the Cube. During the event KOHA will be signing up kids for it's nine divisions of hockey for both boys and girls.
Later in the day, K-Wings fans can visit with their hometown team at the Paw Paw Wine & Harvest Festival in downtown Paw Paw. Slappy will be on hand from 1-4pm signing autographs and helping kids improve their shooting with the K-Wings Puck Shoot Booth.
Slappy will continue the busy day from 6-8pm participating in the first public skate of the year at The Rink in Battle Creek.
On Sunday, Slappy will be heading back to Paw Paw for the St. Julian Festival Parade. The parade, which beings at 1pm, will go through downtown Paw Paw.
During all four of these fun filled events, the K-Wings will be handing out information about their new K-Wings Kids Club Sponsored by Culvers, Citizens Credit Union, Little Ceasers, Perkins Restaurant, Jimmy Johns, and TDS Metrocom. Kids interested in joining the K-Wings Kids Club can register at Kalamazoo Wings promotions during the summer or by stopping by the K-Wings office located in Wings Stadium.
All kids that join the K-Wings Kids Club will receive an official membership card, an exclusive K-Wings Kids Club hockey jersey, a certificate of appreciation, a birthday card from Slappy, a free Culvers Kids Meal, a savings certificate for Citizens Credit Union, a private autograph session with some of your favorite K-Wings' players, and a Slappy quarterly newsletter. The Kalamazoo Wings will be announcing even more benefits and offers as the summer goes on. The membership fee for the Kids Club is an affordable price of $20.
