\'Dogs hit season seat milestone

Richmond, VA – The Richmond RiverDogs of the United Hockey League have crossed the 1,000 season seat threshold for the 2004/05 season. As of the close of business Thursday the RiverDogs have sold 1,010 season seats for the upcoming campaign.

Wayne Burton of Powhatan purchased the ‘Dogs 1,000th season seat earlier this week. The ‘Dogs have more than doubled the number of season seats sold at this time last year.

Season seats, FlexPaks, Family 4Paks, and group tickets are on sale now. For more information please call the ‘Dogs office at 225-PUCK.

· The ‘Dogs now have 16 players under contract for 2004-'05: Brian Goudie, Paul Johnson, J.F. Picard, J.J. Wrobel, Luch Nasato, Jami Yoder, David Brosseau, Francis Belanger, Jordan Roach, Jonathan Gagnon, Jeff Sanger, Trevor Senn, Mark Turner, Ryan McIntosh, Sean Keene, and Ryan Prentice

· Season seats are on sale now for $545 in the Center section ($470 for minors and seniors), and $400 ($320 for minors and seniors) in End sections. To purchase your season seats please call 225-PUCK (7825).

· The ‘Dogs open their second season Friday, October 15 vs. Port Huron at 7:35 in the Richmond Coliseum.

· The ‘Dogs face the Missouri River Otters in a UHL preseason game Saturday, October 9 at 7:35 PM at the Roanoke Civic Center. For ticket information for that game please call the Civic Center at (540) 853-6583.
