
Two LSU Tigers Set to Become Growlers

KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo Growlers are pleased to announce the addition of right-handed pitcher Ryan May and infielder Bryce Adams of Louisiana State University to the 2015 roster. Both May and Adams will make the move to Kalamazoo at the end of their seasons.
Ryan May: 6'1"- 156lb, RHP, Bats R/Throws R, Louisiana State University (freshman), Baton Rouge, La.
Bryce Adams: 6'4"- 210 lb, 1B, Bats R/Throws R, Delgado College/ Louisiana State University- Fall 2015 (sophomore), Baton Rouge, La.
To this point in his freshman season with LSU, May has appeared in one game with a third of an inning of work. May faced two batters allowed one hit and no runs in his Tigers debut.
May played his high school baseball at Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During his 2013 season he pitched in one game in which he threw seven innings of work while only allowing one run. He also allowed five hits while allowing four walks and striking out eight batters in the win.
Bryce Adams, also from Dunham High School, is currently playing baseball for Delgado College in New Orleans, Louisiana and is committed to make the move to LSU in fall of 2015. So far in the 2015 season, Adams has appeared in all 26 games for the Delgado College Dolphins as their everyday first baseman. Adams is hitting .432 this season with 2 home runs and 23 RBI's in 81 at bats. He has also hit 10 doubles and 2 triples on 35 hits and has drawn 9 walks.
In 2014 Adams started every game for the Dolphins and helped the team to a 43-13 record and a NJCAA World Series title. Adams hit .379 in 2014 with 16 extra base hits including 4 home runs. He also drove in 35 runs and scored 36.
