Two Game Homestand Begins Tonight At NYTEX

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (November 13)-It will be a weekend full of Dogs, Gorillas and Bees at the NYTEX Sports Centre when the Brahmas host the Amarillo Gorillas on $1 Hot Dog Night tonight and the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees Saturday.

All fans in attendance to Friday's 7:05 PM game against the Gorillas will have the opportunity for $1 hot dogs and to watch Brahmas newest forward, Kevin Cooper, take the ice for the first time as a Texas Brahma. Cooper is quite familiar with the Central Hockey League (CHL) as he has been with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs since 2007 collecting 89 points (43 G, 46 A) in 93 games. This will be the Toronto, ONT native's sixth professional season.

On Saturday the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees come to town for the 7:05 PM faceoff against the Brahmas for the first time this season. Last year Texas swept the Bees with a 4-0 record in the playoffs. Forward Tyler Skworchinski recorded all four game winning goals in the postseason against Rio Grande Valley.
