
Two Fireworks Shows, Memorial Day Headline Seven-Game Homestand

DURHAM, NC - The Durham Bulls open a seven-game homestand against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and Gwinnett Braves on Monday, May 30. Monday's Memorial Day game, two postgame fireworks shows and an appearance by Tampa Bay Rays mascots Raymond and DJ Kitty highlight the event schedule.
The homestand kicks off on Monday, May 30, with a special 5:05 p.m. first pitch for Memorial Day. On Tuesday, May 31 the Bulls and RailRiders square off at 7:05 p.m., before the series against the New York Yankees' top affiliate closes at 1:05 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1.
On Thursday, June 2, the Bulls welcome the Gwinnett Braves to the DBAP for the first game of a four-game set. That night's contest features $1 Concessions, as Bright Leaf hot dogs, soda and popcorn are just a buck all game long. First pitch for Thursday's game, presented by Lynnwood Brewing Co., is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
On Friday, June 3, Durham hosts the Atlanta Braves' top affiliate at 7:05 p.m. presented by Triangle Orthopaedic Associates. Following that night's game Friday Night Fireworks will light up Downtown Durham, presented by bioMerieux.
The series against Gwinnett continues on Saturday, June 4 at 6:35 p.m. Following that night's game will be a fireworks show presented by JT's Landscaping, as the Bulls will don their Bull City Blues uniforms for the second time this season. The DBAP will also host two special visitors Saturday, as Tampa Bay Rays mascots Raymond and DJ Kitty will take photos with Bulls fans throughout the game, presented by GKN Driveline.
Durham's homestand comes to a close on Sunday, June 5 at 5:05 p.m. Following that evening's contest, presented by Lane & Associates Family Dentistry, Kids Run the Bases presented by Nature's Twist.
