Edmonton Elks News Release
(Edmonton) - Today, the Canadian Football League named the following two Eskimos to the West Division All-Star Team.
Wide Receiver Derel Walker
Wide Receiver D'haquille 'Duke' Williams
Divisional All-Stars are selected by CFL head coaches and voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada.
Derel Walker | Wide Receiver
Walker appeared in 11 games this season finishing with 875 yards and eight touchdowns on 51 receptions - including a 101-yard touchdown reception - before sustaining an injury that kept him sidelined for the remainder of the 2018 season. He finished the season in sixth place in receiving touchdowns.
This is Walker's third West Division All-Star award (2015 and 2016) to go along with his 2015 CFL Most Outstanding Rookie award.
D'haquille 'Duke' Williams | Wide Receiver
Williams broke into the league in 2017 but made his mark on the CFL in 2018 where he appeared in all 18 games for the Green and Gold finishing in first place in the CFL in receiving yards (1,579), tied for first with receiving touchdowns (11) and in second place in yards after the catch (425).
This is Williams first West Division All-Star award.
