Jacksonville Sharks News Release

JACKSONVILLE - When ArenaBowl XXV is held in New Orleans on August 10, much of the focus will be on the two teams competing for the title. But the week also serves as a reward for dance team members from around the league, as each team will have a dancer represented on the "Net10 Dream Team."

Two Attack Dancers, Lindsay and Sarah, have been selected to compete for the honor of representing the ArenaBowl XXIV Champion Jacksonville Sharks on the Dream Team. Voting recently opened and will run through June 15. To vote, fans can visit the Dream Team page located on the offical AFL website, located at arenafootball.com/dreamteam.

A Jacksonville native, Sarah is in her second year with the Attack Dance Team and is one of the leaders of a group that consists of many new faces. She is currently a student at Florida State College at Jacksonville and also works part-time as a waitress. A natural dancer, Sarah says that the best part of being a member of the Attack is simply "having the chance to do what I love all the time."

Linsday is a rookie on the Attack Dance Team. Though she was brand-new to the team, Lindsay was featured as the "Attack Dancer of the Week" during the Sharks' home opener against the Georgia Force on March 24. More recently, Lindsay showed off her singing talent by starting the "fanthem" rendition of the National Anthem at the Sharks' Military Appreciation Night game last Saturday night.
