Twenty Galaxy matches to be televised on FSN West and FSN Prime Ticket 2006

CARSON, CA - The Los Angeles Galaxy today announced a comprehensive regional television schedule for the 2006 season, featuring 18 of the clubs 32 regular season games and two post-season matches to be broadcast to Southland television audiences by FSN WEST and FSN PRIME TICKET. FSN WEST is also the home of "Galaxy Live", a 30-minute pre-game show devoted to coverage of the club.

"We are extremely happy to be returning for another season of Galaxy soccer on FSN WEST and FSN PRIME TICKET," said Galaxy Assistant General Manager Tom Payne. "Our continuing partnership with FSN WEST and FSN PRIME TICKET is one we are very pleased with and this package will allow our fans to follow the team on television throughout the season."

Galaxy coverage on FSN WEST and FSN PRIME TICKET kicks off this Saturday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. on FSN PRIME TICKET. FSN WEST will air the Galaxy home game on April 22 against Columbus. A complete Galaxy television schedule will follow this release.

For the fourth consecutive year, Galaxy telecasts will feature Max Bretos handling play-by-play and Allen Hopkins serving as color analyst, and the two will also host "Galaxy Live". The pre-game show airs live from the Home Depot Center before home games and travels to be on site when the team is on the road. An informative and entertaining extension of each Galaxy event telecast on FSN WEST, "Galaxy Live" offers a show that is connected to the team, original, fast-paced and fun. The FSN WEST reporting team delivers the stories of the game as told by the playmakers themselves. "Galaxy Live" on-air graphics are tailored to the team and feature the colors of forest green and gold, furthering its insider access to the team. "Galaxy Live" and Galaxy game telecasts on FSN WEST are produced by Micah King.

FSN WEST is the home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings and Galaxy. Team-specific and locally-produced "Live" and "Insider" programming concepts air on FSN WEST. Event coverage and programming of boxing, poker, billiards, outdoor sports, and more, as well as FSN originals such as "Best Damn Sports Show Period", "CMI: The Chris Myers Interview", "Beyond the Glory", "The Sports List", "Totally Football" and "Sunday Night Fights" call FSN West home.

Together, FSN WEST and sister network FSN PRIME TICKET present more live, local sports programming than any other network or broadcast system in the market. FSN PRIME TICKET produces over 400 live sporting events and over 3,400 hours of original programming each year. In conjunction with national ESPN2 broadcasts, fans will be able to watch 24 of the Galaxy's 32 regular season matches on television, and two post-season games. Included in the FSN package is a match against Freddy Adu and D.C. United on June 11 as well as the Galaxy's annual Fourth of July match against the New York Red Bulls. FSN PRIME TICKET will broadcast the final match of the season against cross-town rival CD Chivas USA on September 30 at 7:30 p.m.
