Colorado Rapids News Release
DENVER, CO - The Colorado Rapids announced today the acquisition of the Los Angeles Galaxy's natural third round pick in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft. In exchange the Rapids are sending senior international player Cornell Glen to the Southern California team.
Glen, who came to the Mile High Club in an off season trade with the Columbus Crew, appeared in one game for Colorado. The Trinidad and Tobago native came on as a substitute in the Rapids' season opener at Houston, playing 13 minutes.
Glen's departure leaves an open senior international spot on the Rapids' roster. MLS teams may only have four players designated as senior internationals. The Rapids' current senior international players are Terry Cooke, Dedi Ben-Dayan and Nicolas Hernandez.
