TWC Metro Sports to Televise Five Mavericks' Games

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks in conjunction with Time Warner Cable Metro Sports announced Thursday the Central Hockey League (CHL) club will have five televised games on Metro Sports. All five games will be televised live from Independence Events Center.

There will be one televised game per month except for the month of December and the Mavericks will host five different opponents for the games.

Mavericks on Metro Sports Schedule

Saturday, October 30 vs. Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, 7:05 p.m.

Saturday, November 13 vs. Fort Wayne Komets, 7:05 p.m.

Saturday, January 15 vs. Rapid City Rush, 7:05 p.m.

Friday, February 11 vs. Colorado Eagles, 7:05 p.m.

Friday, March 4 vs. Quad City Mallards, 7:05 p.m.

Metro Sports is available on channels 30 and 1030 to Time Warner Cable customers. The network is also available regionally on Comcast channel 258 and Sunflower Cable in Lawrence on channel 37. Metro Sports will also soon be available on Time Warner Cable Nebraska channel 232.

The Missouri Mavericks will begin their second season in the Central Hockey League on October 15, 2010 against the Odessa Jackalopes at 7:05 p.m. The Mavericks play their home games at the state-of-the-art Independence Events Center where parking is always free.
