Tulsa Brings Back Starting Center

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, announced that starting center Patrick Barrett has re-signed for a second season.
Barrett,played the entire season for Tulsa in 2023, helping his offense compile 24 rushing touchdowns and 55 passing scores. The Oilers' center helped hold defenses to only nine sacks all season and aided in 12 field goals on the campaign.
The experienced lineman was one of many former Omaha Beef members to rejoin head coach Marvin Jones in Tulsa last season. The returning Oiler won two championships with Omaha. Prior to his Oilers contract, the 6'2, 305 lbs. offensive lineman played with the Beef from the 2019-20 season through the 2021-22 campaign. In his final season with the Beef, the former CIF center took part in 14 games and helped his team finish second in the league in scoring, third in points per game, and first in total offense.
The Waukesha, Wisconsin native played college football at Carroll University, suiting up for the Pioneers for three seasons from 2015-2017
Tulsa will see its second season begin in 2024.
