Trupp, Kristo, and Caron Join the Organization

The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday that they have signed center EVAN TRUPP to a contract for the 2015-16 season. In addition, the St. Louis Blues signed right wings DANNY KRISTO and JORDAN CARON to two-way deals.
TRUPP spent last season with the American Hockey League's Worcester Sharks and ranked second on the team in goals (16) and points (40) while appearing in 72 regular-season games. He also ranked among team leaders with a +6 plus/minus rating.
The 27-year-old began his professional career in 2011 with the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones. He posted 36 goals and 83 assists in 166 regular-season games spread over three ECHL seasons, but he capped his time in the league by producing 6 goals and 8 assists during the postseason to help the Alaska Aces capture the 2014 Kelly Cup.
The Anchorage, Alaska, native made his AHL debut on Jan. 15, 2014, with the Abbotsford Heat and notched 1 goal and 6 assists in 17 games. He played for four years at the University of North Dakota, where he posted 40 goals and 68 assists in 157 games.
KRISTO has spent parts of the last three seasons in the AHL after turning pro late in the 2012-13 season. He has accumulated 92 points (47G, 45A), 55 penalty minutes, and a +10 plus/minus rating in 146 games with Hamilton (2012-13) and Hartford (2013-15), adding six points (3G, 3A) in 15 Calder Cup appearances. He hit the 20-goal mark both in 2013-14 and 2014-15.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a four-year career at the University of North Dakota. He registered 161 points (68G, 93A), 83 penalty minutes, and a +50 plus/minus rating in 157 games en route to three WCHA titles during his tenure (2010, 2011, 2012). His senior season he was named to the WCHA First All-Star Team, NCAA West First All-American Team, and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.
The Edina, Minn., native was originally selected by the Montreal Canadiens with their first selection, 56th overall, in the second round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
CARON is a five-year pro and brings both National Hockey League and AHL experience. He has compiled 28 points (12G, 16A), 78 penalty minutes, and a -6 plus/minus rating in 153 NHL games with Boston (2010-15) and Colorado (2014-15), tallying one goal in nine Stanley Cup matchups.
The 24-year-old has posted 78 points (36G, 42A), 74 penalty minutes, and a -12 plus/minus rating in 134 career AHL games with Providence (2010-13, 2014-15) and nine points (2G, 7A) in 12 Calder Cup tilts.
Prior to turning pro, the Sayabec, Quebec, native racked up 203 points (100G, 103A), 173 penalty minutes, and a +54 plus/minus rating in 204 career QMJHL games with Rimouski (2006-10) and Rouyn-Noranda (2009-10). Additionally he contributed 33 points (16G, 17A) in 33 postseason contests and was named to the 2008-09 CHL Top Prospects Game.
CARON was originally selected by the Boston Bruins with their first selection, 25th overall, in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
