Coyotes Sign Dustin Jeffrey

Springfield, MA -Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Dustin Jeffrey to a one-year two-way contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 27-year-old Jeffrey recorded 25-39-64 and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 69 games with the Utica Comets and Bridgeport Sound Tigers last season. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound native of Sarnia, ON has totaled 17-14-31 with 10 PIM in 124 career NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Dallas Stars. He has dressed in 272 career AHL games amassing 81-147-228 and a plus-61 rating with the Sound Tigers, Comets, Texas Stars and the Wilkes-Barre/Scanton Penguins.

Jeffrey was originally drafted by the Penguins in the sixth round (171st overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
