WINNIPEG, MB â Troy Westwood is the best. With a 50-yard field goal at the 13:14 mark of the 2nd Quarter, the left-footed placekicker put his name in the Winnipeg Blue Bombers record books as the football club's top all-time scorer.
The kick gave Westwood 1,842 career points and his 17 points on the night took him to a career total of 1,853 points. He eclipsed the total of 1,840 points set by former kicker Trevor Kennerd, who played for the football club from 1980-1991.
Westwood's point total now places him in the 7th spot on the CFL's All-Time Scoring list.
