Trick-or-Treaters Invited to Stop by the Ballpark

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs have announced that Hadlock Field will be open on Halloween night, Friday, October 31st, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for trick-or-treaters.

This is the first time in franchise history that the ballpark will be open on Halloween night. Sea Dogs' staff members will be located at the Slugger Statue to hand out candy and Sea Dogs tickets to trick-or-treaters.

SLUGGER NEEDS A FRIEND TO TRICK-OR-TREAT WITH HIM

Slugger the Sea Dog has NEVER been trick-or-treating on Halloween! This year he REALLY wants to go. Slugger is looking for kid to take him out trick-or-treating this season.

The Portland Sea Dogs have teamed-up with 99.9 FM "The WOLF" to find Slugger a trick-or-treating partner. If you are interested in trick-or-treating with Slugger on Halloween night, log onto www.999thewolf.com and complete the entry form. One lucky fan will be selected to be Slugger's "Halloween Host". Slugger will go to the neighborhood of the lucky winner for trick-or-treating from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on October 31st. Each person that enters the contest will also receive two Sea Dogs tickets for a 2009 Sea Dogs' game. One pair of tickets per household.

Slugger will need to make sure he gets plenty of rest following his Friday night Halloween adventure as he has a very big day on Saturday. On Saturday, November 1st individual game tickets for the 2009 Portland Sea Dogs season will go on sale at the Hadlock Field Ticket Office at 9:00 AM. Phone & Internet orders will begin at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 1st. Season Tickets are currently on sale. Any questions regarding tickets should be directed to the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or tickets@seadogs.com. Ticket prices will remain the same, ranging from $4.00 for a child's general admission seat to $9.00 for an adult box seat.
