
Tribe To Take Part In Fundraiser For Playball Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indy Sports Foundation is hosting a luncheon fundraiser benefiting PlayBall Indiana's RBI Program (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) that features the Indianapolis Indians on May 5th at the Columbia Club from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
Howard Kellman, voice of the Indianapolis Indians, will be the master of ceremonies. Attendees will hear about the 2009 season from Indians CEO, Max Schumacher and also get a change to meet and hear from Indians hitting coach Jeff Branson and top Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Andrew McCutchen. The Indy Sports Foundation will present PlayBall Indiana with a grant for $1000.00 at the event.
