Tri-City Drops Series to Capitales in Rubber Match

QUEBEC CITY, QC - The ValleyCats faced off with the East-leading Quebec Capitales on Thursday night in the rubber match of a three-game set at Stade Canac in Quebec City following a statement win by the 'Cats in game two on Wednesday.
The Capitales would tally 5 runs in the third inning, taking a lead that the Capitales would not surrender.
The 'Cats would not go down without a fight, clawing their way back into the game with Brad Zunica's 3rd home run in two days, a double by Cito Culver, and a single by Pavin Parks. The big inning would once again come back to bite the 'Cats who would surrender 5 in the 7th.
Brantley Bell would extend his hitting streak to 23 games in the loss.
