Tri-City Storm News Release

KEARNEY, Neb. - In addition to playing two contests at the annual Fall Classic West in Sioux City, the Tri-City Storm have added four more matchups to their preseason schedule as tune-ups before the regular season gets underway.

Two of those games will be in Kearney at the Viaero Event Center on Sept. 7 and 19 against the Des Moines Buccaneers and the Lincoln Stars respectively.

The Storm will also hit the road for games at Des Moines on Sept. 13 and Omaha on Sept. 20.

Tickets to the preseason matchup with Lincoln are on sale now at the Viaero Event Center box office and on the web at stormhockey.com. Prices are $10 for the general public, $8 for season ticket holders and seniors, and $5 for kids ages 4-12.

The game with Des Moines on Sept. 7 will not be a ticketed event.

This year's Fall Classic West will span two days, with each Western Conference team playing two games. The Storm will face the Fargo Force on Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. and the Waterloo Black Hawks on Sept. 12 at 1 p.m.

While the USHL regular season gets underway on the night of Sept. 20, the Storm will be in Omaha to face the Lancers in an exhibition, giving Tri-City an extra week to prepare as their first regular season battle is not until Sept. 28.

The Storm's regular season opener will also be in Kearney against Lincoln at the Viaero Event Center. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will be treated to a free pregame barbeque, and all fans in attendance can witness a fireworks show at the conclusion of the contest, presented by Viaero Wireless.

Season tickets for the 2013-14 season are on sale now. For more information, log on to stormhockey.com or call the Viaero Event Center Box Office at 308-338-8011.
