Trevor Tietz Added to All-Star Roster

Sauget, IL - The Gateway Grizzlies are pleased to announced that relief pitcher Trevor Tietz has been added to the roster for the 2023 Frontier League All-Star Game by West Division manager Steve Brook, and will represent the Grizzlies at Ozinga Field in Crestwood next week.
A first-year Grizzlie from Watertown, Wisconsin, Teitz has been one of the Grizzlies' most-trusted relievers all season long, with a 2.28 ERA in 23 appearances, 22 strikeouts, 12 walks, and only 10 hits allowed in 23 2/3 innings. Signed by the Grizzlies out of the Milwaukee Brewers organization, he has limited opposing hitters to a .130 average, the lowest mark on the Gateway pitching staff entering play this weekend.
Other additions to the West Division roster include Craig Massey of the Florence Y'alls, Noah Myers of the Evansville Otters, and Bren Spillane, Micah Yonamine, and Junior Martina of the host Windy City ThunderBolts.
The Grizzlies will hit the road for their final series of the first half, taking on the Joliet Slammers for a weekend series beginning on tomorrow, July 7, at Duly Health and Care Field. All-star right-hander Collin Sullivan will start the contest for the Grizzlies as they look to continue their winning ways into the midsummer break, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. CT.
