Trevor Ludwig Turns to Americans Fans for Help in Selecting His Next Jersey Number
August 13, 2014 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - Allen Americans defenseman, Trevor Ludwig, a part of the Allen organization for the past three seasons is changing his jersey number and he is asking for help from the fans to help pick his new number.
Trevor has worn the number 24 since arriving in Allen in the 2011-2012 season, but has decided that now might be the right time for a change. After having both of his last two seasons cut short due to serious injuries, he decided that a fresh start is the way to go.
"After missing the last two playoff seasons and not being able to celebrate a championship on the ice, I decided that this year will be fresh and new," said Ludwig. "I've picked three numbers (17, 47, and 16) as jersey numbers I would wear this season. I'm giving our fans a chance to pick my new number via email, and the majority will rule. So vote today and I'll see you in October."
Fans can vote for one of the three jersey numbers and email us at contest@allenamericans.com. One lucky fan, who selects the number Trevor chooses, will win a jersey off Trevor Ludwig's back at an upcoming game this season.
Season Tickets for the 2014-2015 Allen Americans season are on sale NOW at www.allenamericans.com or call (972) 912-1000 .
