Trevor Harris Among the CFL Players of the Week

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes quarterback Trevor Harris is among the players of the week in the CFL.

The Waldo, OH native completed 24 of his 31 passes for a completion rate of 77.4%, adding 382 yards and three touchdowns. In the third quarter, he threw his longuest pass of the game (a 54-yard bomb) to receiver Kaion Julian-Grant, for a touchdown.

The former Edinboro University Fighting Scot earned 139 yards in the fourth quarter, adding a touchdown to lead the Alouettes to the win. Trevor's impressive performance late in the fourth quarter allowed kicker David Côté to score two field goals in the last minutes of the game.

The Alouettes trailed three times in the final quarter (19-25; 25-26 and 26-28) to finally win the game on the final play with a 48-yard field goal by David Côté.

The Alouettes will play their next game on Friday, September 2 at 7:30 p.m. against the Ottawa REDBLACKS at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

The athlete was chosen by a panel of judges made up of Matt Dunigan and Marshall Ferguson of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS, who independently sent their selections to the CFL head office.
