White Named a CFL Top Performer for Week 11

The Canadian Football League announced Tuesday, Hamilton Tiger-Cats receiver Tim White has been named a Top Performer for Week 11.

White, 28, led the Tiger-Cats with 11 receptions for 145 receiving yards with two receiving touchdowns in Hamilton's 29-28 loss to the Montreal Alouettes Saturday night at Percival Molson Stadium in Montreal. The Santa Clarita, California native's memorable game was highlighted by a 64-yard fourth quarter touchdown reception from Matt Shiltz.

BC's Obum Gwacham and Montreal's Trevor Harris, first and second respectively, join White as this week's Top Performers. The three players were chosen by a panel of judges made up of Matt Dunigan and Marshall Ferguson of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS, who independently send their selections to the CFL league office.
