Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ (September 10, 2008) - The Trenton Devils, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils, today signed three players: veteran forwards Jim Henkel and Matt Radoslovich and rookie forward Scott Bartlett. The announcement was made by Trenton Devils General Manager Chris Lamoriello. As per club policy, no further terms were disclosed.

A native of Hazlet, NJ, Henkel led all T-Devils in goals (23) and points (47, tied with Eric Castonguay) during the 2007-08 season. The center returns for his fourth straight season with Trenton. The 29-year-old was the sole veteran to skate with the Devils for the entire season, serving as the team's alternate captain.

Henkel has skated in both the ECHL and AHL during his career, and won the 2003 Kelly Cup during his rookie year with the ECHL's Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. The 6-2, 190-pounder was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the eighth round (#217 overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.

Radoslovich, 25, also returns to Trenton after posting 18 points (4g, 14a) with the Devils last year. The former UHL player caught fire in the second half of the season, scoring 16 points (4g, 12a) in his final 32 games.

The Wanaque, NJ righty walked on to the Boston University hockey team as a freshman, and later put up 78 points (35g, 43a) in two seasons with the Quad City Mallards (UHL).

Bartlett joins the T-Devils after serving as captain his senior year at Middlebury College. Standing at 5-9 and 165 pounds, the forward steadily improved his numbers each year with the Panthers, finishing with 8g and 11a in 27 games played during the 2007-08 season. Bartlett has known nothing but winning with Middlebury, competing in the Division-III national championship game three times, and claiming the title in 2005 and 2006.

Season tickets for the 2008-09 season are now available! For information log onto the new www.trentondevils.com or call 609.599.9500.
