Trenton And New Hampshire Suspended Game To Be Made Up May 27

(Trenton, NJ)- The game between the Trenton Thunder and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Sunday that was suspended because of rain will be made up on May 27 at 6:05 PM. According to official baseball rules, the suspended game must be completed before another game can be played between the two clubs.
The Fisher Cats were leading 1-0 when the game was suspended in the top of the fourth inning. That game will finish as a nine-inning game and will be followed by a seven inning game.
The game on Tuesday, May 27 is Robinson Cano Bobblehead giveaway thanks to FOX Cable Networks. The first 2,000 fans will receive bobbleheads. The gates to Waterfront Park will open at 4:30 PM for season ticket holders and 5:00 PM for the general public.
New Hampshire took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning on an RBI single by SS Chris Gutierrez. Trenton 3B Kevin Russo had the only hit for the Thunder, prior to the suspension. Thunder starting pitcher Dan McCutchen had 6 strikeouts in 3 plus innings of work.
Fans can redeem tickets from Sunday's game for a ticket to another 2008 Thunder home game based on availability. Ticket stubs must be presented in person at the Thunder Ticket Office. This offer excludes July 3rd and Major League Rehab appearances.
Trenton has an off day on Monday, and will begin a three-game series against the Reading Phillies, the Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, on Tuesday night at First Energy Stadium in Reading, PA. LHP Phil Coke (2-1, 3.77) will start for Trenton against LHP Kip Bouknight (3-4, 3.33). Game time is set for 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
