Trax Fans Can Have History

As the Macon Trax gear up for play in the inaugural Atlantic Coast Hockey League playoffs, fans can begin making plans for owning a piece of history of the Trax first season. The Trax game worn home (white) jerseys will go up for public auction, once the Trax have concluded play in the President's Trophy playoffs.

The auction will take place on the first Monday night after the Trax finish the playoffs at Locos Deli and Pub on Riverside Drive in Macon. The auction will take place in conjunction with the Trax final Hockey Happy Hour of the season, whenever that may take place. Fans who want to bid on the jerseys are encouraged to go to Locos for the Trax Hockey Happy Hour to attend the auction.

The Trax open the playoffs on Thursday at Orlando at 7 p.m. Game two of the series is in Macon on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Game three on Saturday in Orlando starts at 7:30 p.m. If games four or five are needed in the series they will be in Orlando on March 25th and 26th at 7 p.m.

All road games throughout the playoffs can be heard on the internet at www.macontrax.com or www.IRN.FM .

The Trax hold their hour long Hockey Happy Hour at Locos Deli & Pub every Monday at 6 p.m., which can also be heard on the internet link. Playoff tickets and season tickets for 2003-04 are now on sale. For more information on the Trax, contact the Trax office at (478) 743-6010.
