
Goulet, White Make ACHL All-Star Team

ORLANDO - Center Louis Goulet and defenseman Mark White were named to the Atlantic Coast Hockey League 2002-03 All-Star Team on Wednesday.
Goulet, 24, of Kapuskasing, Ontario, was the Seals' top points producer (80) and led the league in assists (60). He finished tied for third in the league in total scoring. On March 4, the rookie from Mercyhurst College became the first Seals player called up to the American Hockey League when Manchester signed him to a three-game contract. He ended up playing five games for the Monarchs.
White, 25, of Woburn, Mass., had 54 points (12 goals, 42 assists) in 59 games for the Seals, and he dominated the league in plus-minus with a rating of +39. White has served as one of the team's alternate captains since the start of the season.
The All-Star team was voted on by the head coach and media relations director from each of the league's six teams as well as a member of the media from each city. Team representatives and the media could not vote for players or coaches on their city's team. The remaining ACHL league awards, including Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, Outstanding Goaltender and Outstanding Defenseman, will be announced throughout the playoffs.
