July 8, 2022 - Texas League (TL)
Arkansas Travelers News Release
North Little Rock, AR - Connor Hoover delivered a walk-off hit with two out in the bottom of the 10th sending the Arkansas Travelers (6-3, 42-36) to a 6-5 win over the Springfield Cardinals (4-5, 35-43) at Dickey-Stephens Park. The heroics were necessary after the Travelers bullpen was unable to hold a five run lead going into the eighth inning. Arkansas had built that five run advantage behind six shutout innings from starter Stephen Kolek to go with eight strikeouts. Devin Sweet was the winning pitcher after throwing a scoreless top of the 10th inning.

* Hoover blasted a three-run homer in the sixth inning that pushed the Travs lead to five.
