Springfield, MO - The Arkansas Travelers had one of their best nights of the season offensively in rolling over the Springfield Cardinals, 9-4 on Tuesday night in the series opener. Taylor Dollard threw five innings and gave up just one run while striking out seven in picking up the win. The five Travs pitchers did not issue a walk for the entire night. Every Arkansas batter reached base at least once with Jake Scheiner (3 RBI) and Joe Rizzo registering multiple hit games.

Moments That Mattered

* Arkansas scored in the top of the first and then saw Springfield load the bases with no one out in the bottom of the inning but Dollard got a pop up and two strikeouts to keep the Cardinals off the board.

* Patrick Frick delivered a clutch two out base hit in the fourth inning, scoring a pair of runs and doubling the Travs lead.

* SS Connor Hoover: 1-2, 2 BB, HBP, 2 runs, HR, RBI

* The Travs got their record back to .500 for the first time in over a month.
