
Travs Come up Short in Extra Innings

North Little Rock, AR - An extra inning game greeted the Arkansas Travelers out of the All-Star Break but they fell in defeat to the Frisco RoughRiders, 3-1 in 11 innings. The game marked the eighth consecutive loss for the Travs. Arkansas did not trail until the final inning. Frisco used seven pitchers on the night with six relievers combining for eight scoreless innings. The teams combined to strand 28 runners on base and went 2 of 31 with runners on base.
Moments That Mattered
* Arkansas had the potential winning run at third base with no one out in the bottom of the 10th but a strikeout, hard ground out and another strikeout kept them from scoring.
* Justin Foscue snapped the tie with a sacrifice fly with one out in the 11th inning. That was immediately preceded by an error.
