Springdale, AR - The Springfield Cardinals (11-8, 42-46) scored nine runs from the 5th through the 8th innings on Friday, cruising to the series-opening win, 11-4, against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (7-12, 38-49) at Arvest Ballpark. Springfield improved to a perfect 7-0 in Northwest Arkansas this season.
