
Travis Tritt to play Blair County Ballpark September 18

(ALTOONA, PA) â The Altoona Curve, in conjunction with Clear Channel Entertainment, is pleased to announce that country music star Travis Tritt will bring his Fall tour to Blair County Ballpark in Altoona on Saturday, September 18th. The show will begin with a special guest opening act at 7:30 p.m. and ballpark gates will open at 6:30.
Tritt, who has been one of county music's most popular recording artists since his first Top 10 single "Country Club" hit the charts in 1989, has released 10 records over the past decade and a half and his 11th, My Honky Tonk History, was released Tuesday. In a review in Tuesday's edition of USA Today, the newspaper said the new album "one of his best".
"We thrilled to be able to bring one of country music's most recognizable faces to Blair County Ballpark," said Curve General Manager Todd Parnell. "As evidenced by our recent Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson concert, we're excited to provide the opportunity for non-baseball fans to share this great facility in a fun, family environment."
Tickets for the September 18th show will go on sale to the public this Saturday, August 21st, beginning at 10 a.m. and will be available through the Blair County Ballpark Ticket Office, on-line at www.altoonacurve.com or through Ticketmaster outlets. All seats for the show will be reserved and ticket prices are as follows...

The concert stage will be placed behind second base and large video screens will broadcast the concert to allow for easier viewing of the show.
