B.C. Lions News Release

(Vancouver) After an impressive performance in a 29-16 win over the Toronto Argonauts last Friday, the CFL announced this morning that BC Lions quarterback Travis Lulay and receiver Akeem Foster have earned Gibson's Finest Player of the Week honours.

Lulay, who connected on 25 of 36 passing attempts for 309 yards and a touchdown, collected Offensive Player of the Week kudos while second-year receiver Akeem Foster snagged the Canadian Player of the Week nod with a career-high 144 yards on eight receptions.

The Lions and the Argos battle again this Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm in the final game at Empire Field presented by Tim Hortons. The club will wear its popular 1960's-inspired black home jerseys and 46 lucky fans will take home the authentic game-worn silks from the historic matchup.
