
Travis Leslie to Play in NBA D-League All-Star Game

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Travis Leslie will be a replacement player in the 2013 NBA Development League All-Star Game, the NBA D-League announced today. Leslie and Justin Dentmon (Texas Legends) replace Cory Joseph (Austin Toros) and Andrew Goudelock (Rio Grande Valley Vipers), who are both unable to play due to injury, on the Prospects Team.
Leslie (6-4, 205, Georgia), who becomes the first Warrior to be named an NBA D-League All-Star, is averaging 16.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 27.8 minutes in 21 games, 17 as a starter. He has scored more than 20 points in six games, including two outings where he tallied 30 or more points. Originally selected in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers, Leslie was a first round selection in the 2012 NBA D-League Draft by the Santa Cruz Warriors.
The 2013 NBA D-League All-Star Game will air live on NBA TV at 12 p.m. PST on Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Sprint Arena at NBA All-Star Jam Session at Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center.
The seventh annual NBA D-League All-Star Game will be preceded by the 2013 Boost Mobile NBA D-League Three Point Contest, and will host the Boost Mobile NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest during halftime of the game.
