
Chris Wright Named Replacement for the 2013 NBA Development League All-Star Game

HOUSTON, Feb. 14, 2013 - Two top prospects were today announced as replacements in the 2013 NBA Development League All-Star Game, which will air live on NBA TV at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Sprint Arena at NBA All-Star Jam Session at Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center. On the Futures team, Tony Mitchell (Fort Wayne Mad Ants) will replace Jeremy Lamb (Tulsa 66ers), while Chris Wright (Iowa Energy) will replace Terrence Jones (Rio Grande Valley Vipers) on the Prospects roster.
Wright (6-1, 210, Georgetown) has appeared in 28 games, all starts, for Iowa this season, averaging 14.4 points, 7.2 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 37.3 minutes. He has recorded three point-assist double-doubles and has scored 20 or more points six times.
The original 20 NBA D-League All-Stars were selected by a vote of the League's 16 head coaches.
The seventh annual NBA D-League All-Star Game will be preceded by the 2013 Boost Mobile NBA D-League Three Point Contest, and will host the Boost Mobile NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest during halftime of the game.
