LONG BEACH, Calif. (Nov. 2, 2004) - The American Basketball Association (ABA) Long Beach Jam signed guard Trajan Langdon today.

Langdon was selected with the 11th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. During his four-year career at Duke University, Langdon set the school record for three-pointers made (342), and upon graduation ranked ninth in points scored (1,974). He shot a blistering .426 from three-point range, and was equally lethal at the free-throw line where he hit 86.2 percent of his attempts. He averaged double-digits in points per game each of his four years, ending his collegiate career averaging 14.5 points per contest.

Langdon and fellow Blue Devil Elton Brand (the first overall selection in the 1999 NBA Draft) were the spearheads of Duke's 1999 NCAA Tournament run that fell one win short of a title. Langdon earned a mathematics degree at Duke.

The Alaska native spent three years with the Cavaliers, scoring a career-high 31 points against the Detroit Pistons in a game during his second year. He logged time with the Los Angeles Clippers this past preseason.
