
Thunder announce team sponsorships

Charlotte, NC. Tony Priscaro, Co-owner of the ABA Carolina Thunder professional basketball team today announced several team sponsorships. According to Priscaro, "The corporate community really getting behind our team and we are deeply appreciative."
The Official Hotel is the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, located at 3033 Cloverleaf Parkway, Kannapolis, NC 28083 (704) 786-3100. It is just minutes away from the Carolina Thunder practice facility called the Sportscenter. The hotel's GM is Don Burleson. The Sportscenter features indoor pools and two basketball courts with state of the art workout machines and weights and is located at 233 Country Club Dr NE in Kannapolis. Its number is (704) 782-3000. The coaches will be staying at the Spring Hill Suites located at 7811 Gateway Lane NW in Concord. (704) 979-2500. The visiting team sponsor hotel is the Hampton Inn at 612 Dickins Place NE in Concord. (704) 793-9700. All of the team's hotels are within 10 minutes of one another and the practice facility and arena.
Another sponsor is the Northeast Medical Center and its sports medicine division. They have supplied the team with a certified athletic trainer and team doctor who attend all practices and games and supply things like tape, heating pads, and other medical equipment. The team doctor is Dr. Kevin Burroughs.
Priscaro added, "And CiCi's Pizza is one of the team's official restaurants - and it has proven to be quite popular with the players who really like the pizzas. They eat there regularly. And I'd like to add a special thanks to the Cabbarus County Convention and Visitors Bureau which purchased a terrific basketball floor from the Arizona WNBA team, plus 3 basketball goals and scoreboard. We are indebted to them."
