ABA and TracerCode reach exclusive memorabilia agreement

November 3, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Indianapolis, IN. Joe Newman, ABA co-Founder, today announced that the professional basketball league has reached an exclusive agreement to market sports memorabelia with TracerCode.com, the Standard in Memorabilia, Collectibles and Authentications. According to Newman, "The instant popularity of the ABA Legends apparel showed us that there is a tremendous market, not only for ABA merchandise, but for sports collectibles of all types. TracerCode.com is a remarkable company providing products and services to over 800 sports collectible dealers nationwide and is deeply involved with the major sports memorabelia shows. They will be providing our ABA Store with a variety of authenticated merchandise from the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL greats as well as ABA collectibles from all of the legends of the past."

William C. Fleming, Sr., TracerCode.com CEO, added, "There's no doubt that there is a great demand for collectibles from Dr. J., George Gervin, Spencer Haywood, Rick Barry, Connie Hawkins and other ABA legends as well as a great demand for authenticated collectibles from other leagues and sports figures. The ABA website, www.abalive.com, is heavily trafficked and should provide an easy way for collectors to order a variety of things. We'll be posting some examples shortly. We are delighted to be able to work with the ABA on this. In addition, we'll be providing collectible prizes in the ABA's upcoming ABA Trivia Contest as well as putting together a spectacular memorabelia show for their All-Star Game in February. We also look forward to supplying all of the team venues with not only the legends but current players as well."
