Training camp report - Day 12
June 1, 2006 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Edmonton Elks News Release
The final full practice before exhibition season kicks off was held on the grass practice field adjacent to Clarke Park this morning. The session lasted for about 90 minutes as the team continues to prepare for Saturday's game with Saskatchewan.
Despite the fact that RB Ron McClendon underwent a root canal and had a tooth extracted yesterday, he still made it to practice this morning.
Perhaps in celebration of his 22nd birthday, DE Adam Braidwood sported his trademark Mohawk again.
The following players did not take part in today's sessions:
Mathieu Bertrand (groin)
William Loftus (shoulder)
Steve Marsh (knee)
Jason Nugent (leg)
Randy Spencer (calf)
Pat Woodcock (hamstring)
Patrick Kabongo (knee)
Malcolm Frank (hip)
Antico Dalton (ankle)
Deitan Dubuc (hamstring)
