WINNIPEG, MB â The following is a list of happenings from Day 9 of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' 2005 training camp:
STARS OF THE DAY: CB William Fields and LB Neil McKinlay.
NEW ARRIVALS: None.
DEPARTURES: None.
INJURIES: WR Vinny Sutherland (hamstring, day-to-day), LB Ron Ockimey (groin, day-to-day), LB Tony Ortiz, LS Chris Cvetkovic (neck), FB Cory Olynick (Achilles, indefinite) and DT Doug Goodwin (calf, day-to-day).
TEAM NEWS: The team had one of its best days of practice during training camp. The pace of the second practice session was particularly fresh and fast-paced, according to head coach Jim Daley. The second session featured the team working in actual game conditions including crowd noise.
