Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, June 6, 2005 - The Alouettes continue training camp at the Campus du Fort Saint-Jean. Here's a look at Day 9 of practice, which was held outside:
Last two-a-day
The Alouettes practiced twice today for the final time this training camp.
Departures
The following players were released: rush end Jimmy McClain, defensive backs Jonathan Lyles and Kealvin Armstrong, offensive lineman Josh Lovelady, receiver Darrell Jones, running back Marcus Houston and kicker Mike Ray.
Addition
Long snapper Dave Vrantsis and defensive end Mike Sutton were added to the roster.
Bumps and bruises
Receiver Kwame Cavil has a swollen knee and missed today's practice.
According to Coach Matthews
''I expect a little more from everyone who was with the organization last season.''
Tomorrow's schedule
Players will have only one practice tomorrow at 10 a.m. On Wednesday, the traditional pre-game walk-through is scheduled for 10 a.m. Please contact the communications department for confirmation of tomorrow's practice location.
