
Tracking the Storm - Marc Stevens

Marc Stevens was drafted in the 5th round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection by the Guelph Storm, which is where he spent his entire OHL career. The Turkey Point, Ont., boasted many highlights during his career including an OHL Championship with the Storm in 2014, and the 2015/2016 Mike Kelly Humanitarian Award, in addition to the Winmar Community Hero Award. In his final year with the Storm, Marc was named to the leadership group as an assistant captain.
Following the end of his OHL career, Marc opted for a new jersey. Sticking in the City of Guelph he began his time at the University of Guelph. He spent four seasons with the Guelph Gryphons while earning an undergraduate degree in Social and Applied Human Sciences. As his last season with the Storm, Marc was named to the Gryphon leadership group, again as an assistant captain.
Following the abrupt end of the 2019/2020 hockey season due to COVID-19, Marc was looking to hit the ice once again. In late July Marc signed a professional contract in Finland with the Imatran Kettera in the Metis League. He currently plays with the Hungarian team MAC HKB Újbuda. He has been featured in 10-games this season and has notched 3 goals and 3 assists.
