
Torrington Titans Make the Most of 7 Hits in 6-4 Victory

The Torrington Titans (2-4) and the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (3-3) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Torrington Titans that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-4 win at Fuessenich Park.
Mike Odenwaelder racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Torrington Titans. He homered in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Brett Susi racked up six strikeouts in the the Torrington Titans win. Susi allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over six innings.
Despite the loss, the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' Soren Hanson dominated the Torrington Titans' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.
Jacob DeCarli (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out five.
