
Seacoast Mavericks make the most of 9 hits in 5-2 victory over the Torrington Titans

Both the Seacoast Mavericks (4-3) and the Torrington Titans (2-5) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Seacoast Mavericks that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-2 win at Fuessenich Park.
Cameron Hanley reached base three times. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.
The Torrington Titans couldn't get anything going so long as Michael Driscoll was on the hill. Driscoll held the Torrington Titans hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.
Jack St. Clair paced the Torrington Titans at the plate. St. Clair went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
Mike Bonaiuto couldn't get it done on the bump for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
