AUSTIN, TEXAS, February 1, 2006 - The Austin Toros are pleased to announce that Dysfunkshun Junkshun will perform live in a postgame concert Thursday, Feb. 2 as the Toros host the Albuquerque Thunderbirds at the Austin Convention Center.

The game's radio broadcast, which normally airs live on ESPN 1530 for Toros home games, will move to ESPN 1260 for Thursday's game and return back to the 1530 dial for Saturday's broadcast. Thursday's game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. with the concert beginning immediately following the conclusion of the game.

"We are excited to host our second postgame concert at the Austin Convention Center featuring Dysfunkshun Junkshun," said team president Mike Berry. "We look forward to presenting a special evening of basketball and other fun, family activities for all of our fans to enjoy."

Hailing from the live music capital of the world, Austin's Dysfunkshun Junkshun has been acclaimed as one of the best show bands in the southwest. Their unique blend of high energy R&B, Hip Hop, 70's Retro, and Classic Rock music has made them a favorite for Private Events hosted by A-List Celebrities, Dignitaries, Fortune 500 companies, weddings, and top clubs throughout the US.

Plus, local singer/songwriter Kimberlee Roberts, who has shared the stage with stars including Michael McDonald, Kool & The Gang and Keith Urban, will sing the national anthem.

The fun continues as the Toros host the Thunderbirds again on Saturday, Feb. 4 for Scout Night. All kids 14 and under in attendance will receive a Toros Patch. In addition various Toros players, including the Player of the Game, will be on hand to participate in a postgame autograph session.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for both games and parking garages are conveniently located on the corners of 5th & Red River and 2nd & Brazos Street. The Toros are affiliated with the NBA's Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and the 2005 World Champion San Antonio Spurs.
