Flame Acquires Thomas, Stokes

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 1 - The Florida Flame has acquired forward Harvey Thomas and swingman Lenny Stokes from the NBA Development League available player pool. Hiram Fuller left the team, but the return of guard Bracey Wright from the Minnesota Timberwolves keeps the Flame roster at 12.

Thomas, 6-8, 205, was the first selection (4th overall) of the Arkansas RimRockers in the 2005 D-League Draft. He played in nine games and averaged 10.3 minutes, 3.2 points and 1.0 rebound before being waived by Arkansas on December 30.

Stokes, 6-5, 185, is a veteran of the D-League, having played 58 games for Asheville in 2003-04 and 2004-05. His D-League per game career numbers are 28.3 minutes, 11.4 points and 3.6 rebounds. He was an honorable mention All-D-League selection last season.
