Last Week:

The Toronto Marlies posted a record of 1-2-0-0 this past week.

On Wednesday, Toronto travelled to New York for a game against the Syracuse Crunch, AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Marlies were defeated by a score of 4-3 in a shootout. Joe Colborne registered three points while Mark Owuya made 32 saves in the loss. Radko Gudas scored the game winning goal in the shootout.

In the first of back-to-back games over the weekend, the Milwaukee Admirals, AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators, defeated the Marlies by a score of 3-1. Spencer Abbott's sixth goal of the season was the lone tally for Toronto. Drew MacIntyre stopped 25 shots in the loss. In their final game of the week, Toronto defeated the St. John's IceCaps, AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets, by a score of 5-4 on Sunday afternoon.

Jake Gardiner, Ryan Hamilton and Dylan Yeo each had multi point games, while Mark Owuya made 36 saves. Toronto went 1-for-4 on the powerplay and 5-for-6 on the penalty kill.

Look Ahead:

Toronto will play four games this coming week.

The Marlies host the Rochester Americans, AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, tonight at 7 p.m.

Mark Mancari leads all active Amerks skaters in points with 44 in 48 games. Toronto is 5-1-0-0 against Rochester this season.

The Marlies will play host to the Binghamton Senators, AHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, for back-to-back games this weekend at 3 p.m. Stephane Da Costa leads active Binghamton skaters in points with 26 in 34 games. The Marlies have yet to defeat Binghamton in two meetings so far this season.

In their final game of the week, Toronto will play their first school day game of the year against the Syracuse Crunch, AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, next Wednesday. Puck drop is set for 11 a.m. Tyler Johnson leads all Crunch skaters in points with 52 in 52 games. This will mark the final meeting of the season between the two teams.
