Florida Panthers Return on Loan Forward Scott Timmins to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (February 27, 2013) - Florida Panthers Executive VP/General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has returned on loan Scott Timmins to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Timmins, 23, suited up for the Panthers in his first NHL game of the season on Tuesday night and recorded 11:35 of ice time. In total, Timmins has played in 20 NHL games, all with Florida (2009-12), scoring one goal with 10 penalty minutes. This season, he has played in 47 games with the Rampage and has tallied 16 points on nine goals and seven assists with 40 penalty minutes.

The Hamilton, Ontario native, was drafted by Florida in the sixth round (165th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
