- TJ Brennan opened the scoring for the Marlies, scoring his 19th goal of the season and extending his point streak to nine games. He also increased his AHL leading point total to 48.

- Mark Arcobello scored twice, including his team leading 20th goal of the season, moving himself into third in AHL scoring with 44 points in 34 games. His two goals tonight also extend his point streak to eight games, seven of which have been multi-point efforts.

- Josh Leivo now has two consecutive multi-point games for the Marlies since returning from the Toronto Maple Leafs. His two assists tonight were his 11th and 12th points against the Moose in seven games this season.

- Antoine Bibeau made 23 save to earn his 17th win of the season and extend his win streak to seven games.

- Justin Holl collected two assists on the Marlies fourth and fifth goals. He now has five points in his last four games.

- Zach Hyman is now tied for the league lead with three shorthanded goals this season. His two points tonight move him into seventh in rookie scoring with 28 points in 46 games.

- Kasperi Kapanen scored his seventh goal of the season to cap the Marlies four goal second period.

- William Nylander recorded two assists, earning himself the games second star.

- The Marlies improve to 16-0-1-0 when scoring five or more goals and 25-2-0-0 when leading after two periods.

- The four goal second period ties Toronto's season high for goals in a period. This is the sixth time the Marlies have scored four goals in a period.

- Toronto's win percentage improves to .802 this season with their closest competitor at .700.

- Toronto is now 22-3-1-0 on the road this season.

- The Marlies have won all seven meetings against the Moose this season, outscoring Manitoba 33 to nine.
