Academy Notes
Sens, France
The Kia Toronto FC Academy U14 team will participate in the Tournoi Sans Frontière in Sens, France from April 18-20. The team will depart on Sunday, April 13 and will train in Sens ahead of the tournament. The team has been placed in Group D and will meet Stade Rennais, AS Monaco and AJ Auxerre in the group stage.
Generation Adidas Cup Finals
The Kia Toronto FC Academy Junior team will play its first match of the Generation Adidas Cup Finals in Dallas, Texas today when they take on Real Salt Lake at 3:00 p.m. ET. The team's remaining matches in Group B will be played on April 15 (LA Galaxy) April 17 (Stoke City).

Last Week:
Toronto FC was defeated by the Colorado Rapids this past weekend by a score of 1-0. The squad was without five first team regulars, defender Doneil Henry, midfielders Michael Bradley, Jonathan Osorio, Alvaro Rey and forward Jermain Defoe, due to various injuries. After a scrappy first half the teams went into the break deadlocked at 0-0. Toronto FC carried most of the play in the second half. At the 77th minute, Colorado Rapids forward Edson Buddle broke the tie by converting on a pass deep in Toronto FC's area and placing into the corner of the net. In the closing minutes the Reds were awarded a set piece only to see Bekker's attempt graze the post.
Wilmington Hammerheads FC
Wilmington Hammerheads FC defeated the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 4-3 last Saturday.
Daniel Lovitz scored his first goal of the season in the 39th minute and registered an assist.
Wilmington has the weekend off, but will host the Charlotte Eagles on Saturday April, 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Look Ahead
Toronto FC will take to the road and face FC Dallas (FCD) this weekend at Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas lost to the Seattle Sounders FC last weekend by a 3-2 score.
FCD currently sits first in the Western Conference with 13 points and a record of 4-1-1.
Defender Michel and midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson are currently tied for the team lead in goals (3).
Last season, FC Dallas finished eighth in the Western Conference with 44 points and a record of 11- 12-11. In the last meeting between these two clubs, Toronto FC drew FC Dallas 2-2 on April 6, 2013 at BMO Field. The Reds are 1-6-5 all-time against FC Dallas.
