FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution is bringing back its popular bobblehead game day giveaways, with the first of three new characters set to be released on Saturday, May 24.

The Revolution's bobblehead collection, which features club stars and legends, will return with three new designs this season:

Saturday, May 24 vs. D.C. United - mascot Slyde the Fox Saturday, July 26 vs. Columbus Crew - defender Andrew Farrell Saturday, Aug. 16 vs. Portland Timbers - midfielder Kelyn Rowe

A limited number of each of the bobbleheads will be distributed at the entry gates at Gillette Stadium on the dates noted above, so fans are encouraged to enter the stadium early.

Slyde (@RealSlyde), who has patrolled the Foxborough sidelines since 1996, is the first non-player to be featured in the Revs' bobblehead series.

Farrell (@2Fast2Farrell) was the number one overall pick in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft and turned in an impressive rookie campaign last year. Now in his second year with the Revs, he has already drawn impressive reviews for his performances on the field.

Rowe (@KRowe210) had a breakout sophomore campaign in 2013 with seven goals and eight assists. He has been mentioned as an early contender for league MVP honors this season, and is one of the team's anchors on the field.

Prior players featured in the bobblehead series include former players Shalrie Joseph (2012), Benny Feilhaber (2012) and Matt Reis (2012), as well as current team members Diego Fagundez (2012), Kevin Alston (2013), Lee Nguyen (2013) and Saer Sene (2013).
